Soundbaths
"Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife"
Kahlil Gibran
What happens in a sound bath?
We are literally bathed in sound during a sound bath. There is a period of relaxing and allowing the body to rest and be held, there is a period of releasing what the body no longer needs, there is a period of absorbing new patterns from the sound and there is a period of integration and grounding. The sound washes us from the inside out.
Sometimes there are some long held dissonant patterns that move and change - which can be accompanied by strong feeling
Sometimes it is deeply relaxing and we sleep.
Sometimes we journey and experience a waking dream.
Sometimes we experience lots of physical sensation as things move.
Sometimes we feel peaceful
Sometimes we touch the eternal in ourselves.

What to bring
Being comfortable during the soundbath will really enhance your experience. Bring a mat or thermarest or sheepskin to lie on and blankets or covers to be cosy - the process of a soundbath can make us feel cold at times. Bring water to drink afterwards, it helps clear the toxins that have released and integrate the new patterns of
energy.
